Why are my hearing aids beeping?
Learn what each combination of beeps tells you about your hearing aids.
3 alternate tones
Battery low
The first time you hear three alternate tones, your hearing aids’ batteries have approximately two hours of power left. If you are streaming sound to your hearing aids from a device via Bluetooth®, your batteries will have approximately one hour of power left.
The three alternate tones are then repeated every 30 minutes.
4 beeps (descending tone)
Powering down
Your hearing aids are turning off. This may be because you have turned them off, or because the batteries are depleted.
8 beeps
Service needed
Your hearing aid needs a microphone service check. The eight beeps will be repeated four times.

Jingle
Startup
Your hearing aids play a jingle when they are turned on to let you know they are now active.
